julian Thompson - CEO

Julian is the co-founder of the Tour Duchenne, along with his late wife Sharyn, and CEO of the Fight Duchenne Foundation now renamed the James House Foundation. He is a father to four wonderful children and after many years living abroad now resides in Mudgee.
Julian’s connection with physical disability is via his son James and his living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. On Fathers Day 2006 James was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. While this news would leave most parents in a state of despair, Julian made a vow that he would do all he could to help beat Duchenne muscular dystrophy and support families living with family members diagnosed with Duchenne.
Since then Julian has helped raised $5 million through 8 separate Tour Duchenne-Tour DeJames bike rides and countless other charity events.
